Numerous issues on this exist in the patches repo. The brief answer is "no".
And that will hide everything except the video and it's related controls. |

The brief answer is "no".
The best that can be done is turn on:
Settings > ReVanced > Player > Open videos in fullscreen portraitAnd that will hide everything except the video and it's related controls.
