Translate docs to other languages

I stumbled across some out of date docs for rxjs in chinese. They were in a separate repo. I would like to update them but I am not sure if a sprayer repo is the best way to do it.

I want to see what others thought would be the best way to create a translation of the rxjs docs. Should they live in another repo? What patterns do other projects use that work well?
