I am trying to get my CPU Fan under control in my old PC running a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard. The Gigabyte Easy Tune software does not allow control of the CPU fan.
I can control the CPU fan with Speed Fan v4.52 (see picture) but creating a fan curve is difficult and the fan oscillates in speed.
It would be great to get Fan Control v154 to work instead, but it does not seem to be able to control the CPU fan. The fan is listed but there is no control card for the CPU fan. The picture below shows the issues.
Can I get some suggestions as to how to get Fan Control to work with this PC?
