Prevent desktop icon after update

After every update, a shortcut icon for Fan Control keeps re-appearing on the desktop, and I have to keep deleting it. It would be great if there was a setting to disable it, or better yet, just don't force a desktop icon at all.

An argument could be made that anyone tech savvy enough to use this app is likely competent enough to create a shortcut icon on the desktop for it if they wanted anyway. And then it would be their choice, instead of it being forced after every update.

While I love this app, it's no sooooo important that I need an icon on the desktop for it.

That's part by default of the "installer" version of the software. If you want complete control, use the portable version.
