MSI b850 gaming Plus Wifi 6E only CPU fan and SYS Fan 1 detected.

Pretty much the title.

on my old B450 tomahawk it worked awesome.
on my new MSI b850 Gaming plus wifi 6e https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B850-GAMING-PLUS-WIFI6E

the software only sees the CPU fan , and Sys fan 1.
but i have PWM fans on Sys fan 1 3 and 4

Msi contro center and Hwinfo sees the fans entirely fine

Please post report log (File -> Save Report).
A screenshot from HWiNFO with your fans and their current RPM would help too.

Be sure to export the Report from LHM soon before or after you take the screenshot of HWiNFO.
This helps trying to find the RPMs of your fans in the log.

Hi. Same here with MSI MAG B850 tomahawk wifi (not max). Sensors ok in HWinfo. Try fan control plugin and hwinfo with shared memory, but nothing to do, all sysfan are not detected (no speed sensor). Pump and CPU fans are ok.

Sorry, I'm not familiarized with fan control and LHM settings. I'hope I done well now. Same problem.

Going through the NCT Chip dump, it seems like they are at addresses:
0x150 + 4
0x150 + 8
0x150 + E

These addresses seem to be included in fan register.

So they should be detected and shown.
Not sure what breaks in there.

I can try compiling a test version with some logging output, so we can narrow down where it goes wrong.
I'll try to have one ready in the next days.

No, for you we'll wait for @Rem0o as the fans you are missing are displayed in LHM, judging from your screenshot and log.
So it's either an issue in FanControl or configuration. Not sure if I can help with that.

The "R" in nct6687dr has a special implementation which makes the response super slow, which fancontrol won't pick up in the assisted setup. The tiles/cards are just hidden in your case. Unhide from the menu:

Try manual pairing for those hidden fans. The response will be super slow, but they should respond eventually (30 seconds + ).

In your case it seems like the mapping for the NCT6687 is wrong for your motherboard, as the RPM sensors are reading 0. This needs to be fixed in LHM.
