[Bug] output devices failing to enumerate still not working in 1.9.9

The issue

In the latestedversion we still have the outputs not being enumerated. while it should be fixed according the realease notes.

Thanks for reporting this - strange as this definitely fixed the issue for the person who found it (outside GitHub). Out of interest, and if possible, have you tried an SDI card/connection and/or another machine?

We have that same card in another PC so I'll test when I can get access.

hmm. we do not have a SDI version, so i can not test it.

No worries, I took another look and realised if you're using the DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder then this card only takes input, not output, so will not enumerate any outputs as per design - it's basically a quad HDMI capture device: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/uk/products/decklink/techspecs/W-DLK-36.

Sorry then i read the fix to fast.. It does not get the inputs, which it did in earlier versions.

Ok, that's strange as the input code hasn't changed recently. I've just tried feeding an extra Windows (11) display into our Quad HDMI Recorder and our input demo at least seems to work fine:

We did not try the input demo. We run it for half year now. so we did roll back to a version from a month ago then it works.

Just to confirm you're saying 1.9.8 does work then?

I've just tried breakpointing our 04_InputExplorerDemo which uses the same code as you mention above ('int numDevices = DeckLink.GetNumDevices();') and I'm seeing 4 devices as expected with latest code:

Would you be able to test to see if you're seeing different so we can try and narrow it down?

we used one version older, see the logs below. Maybe was change between version 1.9.7 and 1.9.9

Ok, thanks for confirming it was 1.9.7 that worked - I seem to remember since that version we had to upgrade some scripts in our projects for more recent Unity versions.

As per my previous message, if it all possible could you please test our '04_InputExplorerDemo' in 1.9.9 to see if that works for you as it does for me? That could hopefully guide as to whether it's more a native code or script level issue.

No worries and thanks for the extra info.

I'm struggling to reproduce this - Unity 2022.3.56f1, both latest code through debugger and the 1.9.9 Trial DLL I believe you're using, on the same DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder, and it just works with our input test scene in both editor and build.

I'll keep digging but just to confirm - in the above test have you created a blank project, imported our package and opened our input test? (I see a bit of unfamiliar logging - if not, would you be able to try?), and when you say 'We build your demo scene' are you actually creating builds or just testing in editor?
