  • This update will come with a JASS interpreter written in Java, and a Trigger Editor added to the Matrix Eater so that people who are very familiar with Warcraft 3 style coding can build GUI plugins, or convert them to JASS, and write them in a JASS dialect with totally different "native" and "type" definitions befitting of the Matrix Eater. This update will also turn Matrix Eater functions like the Bone GeosetId optimizer that execute on save into plugins that users can read as an example, and toggle on/off to their liking.

  • This milestone will add functionality to the "new" button to create a new model. It will see the right-hand side of the program finally replaced, and instead of the old Oinkerwinkle Vertex Modifier ui buttons, they will be replaced with a JTabbedPane containing a Primitives tab, to place new mesh. There will also be an Advanced Components tab to place new attachment points, particle emitters, bones, helpers, ribbon emitters, event objects, and such. • This milestone represents a full replacement of the functionality of the original Matrix Eater software's main UI, including Scaling, Translation, and Rotation of vertices and pivot points. Instead of the old View Controller, the Vertex Manipulation v2 system will have a checkbox tree on the left hand side of the window that lets the user break down a model into all of its core elements, and toggle visibility on a per-element basis. The Vertex Manipulation v2 milestone will also include Face/Triangle selection, and Vertex Group selection as new features.
