make it possible to identify specific versions of different modules

Right now I'm investigating a regression error, trying to get the right versions when the bug was introduced, but is complicated because I need to find the right combination between a specific commit of Pure64 and BareMetal modules. It will be much easier if we can find a way do document the specific version of every specific module. Right now I'm using this to troubleshoot.

Maybe there is a better way to do it, with tags or some git functionality.

I'll look into creating tags for this - likely using "YYYY.MM" or similar.

What if we use git modules instead of the script? We can use the script to bring the latest versions of everything as a special option.
