Hmmm… i should have to build one. I cloned your [test project](https://github.com/RobinBobin/gdrivetest) but wasn’t able to run it. I’m not familiar with pure React Native projects, I only develop with Expo. I could share access to my Expo GitHub repo, but in the current state is a bit messy because I’ve been spending the last 2 days battling with GDrive code, following a lot of different paths. The problem is that this project requires to build a native dev-client to support Bluetooth connections I was able to install [kuatsu/react\-native\-google\-drive\-api\-wrapper\-js: Fork of @robinbobin/react\-native\-google\-drive\-api\-wrapper providing pure JS source files & TypeScript definitions](https://github.com/kuatsu/react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper-js), a pure-js fork with no errors, but it later fails reading/writing to GDrive perhaps due to some API differences (I guess that fork is far behind your repo) Let me know if this is ok and I’ll give you access to my private repo. Thanks!

I made the repo temporarily public: AlbertoLopSie/SmartPlate: SmartPlate mobile app the branch I am currently working is google-auth

Most of the app is in spanish, if you need any explanation please dont hesitate to ask me.

In the meantime a few hints:

• I forked and cloned both this repo and mimetype-constants
• Changed all references to @RobinBobin/xxxx to local files
• Now the project start flawlessly !!! (not yet tested Google Drive right access)

I guess the problem is related to package "packaging"

I'm on branch main.
I didn't manage to make yarn work, so I did

corepack use pnpm@latest

pnpm install

I prebuilt the project and ran pnpm expo android, running the project on my android smartphone (I don't have a mac). The app crashes at launch with

 ERROR  Invariant Violation: Tried to register two views with the same name AutoLayoutView, js engine: hermes [Component Stack]

Anyway, I'm not sure you could be able to run it. As the project contains native plugins, I build a dev-client using EAS before I can run it with expo on my machine.

I finally have it running on my mac. After cloning your two repos (@robinbobin/react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper and @robinbobin/mimetype-constants) and modifying package references to my local folders I managed to run it and reading and writing to GDrive.

In the process I noticed:

• In global-functions/GoogleDrive.ts, the imports:

import { ListQueryBuilder } from "react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper";
export { GDrive } from "react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper";

had to be changed to:

import { ListQueryBuilder } from "react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper/src";
export { GDrive } from "react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper/src";

(note the trailing /src) to make it work. Without that change, my project couldn't find your package.

Also, in the local copy of your react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper package,I had to change all references to mimetype-constants:

import { ... } from '@robinbobin/mimetype-constants'

to

import { ... } from 'mimetype-constants/src'

Otherwise I kept getting the same Unable to resolve "@robinbobin/mimetype-constants" error as with the NPM package.

Could you have an error on the package building process?

PS: After making the repo public my inbox was flooded with warnings related to API keys exposed. I had to changed them on Google Console, so it is posible that some code fails with auth errors.

In the meantime I worked around the problem forking your repos into AlbertoLopSie/react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper and AlbertoLopSie/mimetype-constants

I reorganized your code in AlbertoLopSie/react-native-google-drive-api-wrapper moving the legacy and current subfolders into their corresponding branches.

Now, installing those packages directly from github makes my app buildable again.
