Stairs in the arena

Humanoids are coming. Stairs and other domestic environments often have stairs.

Describe the solution you'd like

There should be stairs added to the arena specifications.

Describe alternatives you've considered

A step ladder 🪜 would also work but might be too difficult

Additional context

We can not force everyone to use Humanoid Robots but we can adapt the arena to encourage humanoids.
If the shortest path between two areas in the arena is up 3 stairs and down 3 stairs then this will help, and there would be bonus points.

If humanoids are coming and make sense they should just outperform the omnidirectional platforms 😆
I personally dont have to climb any stairs in my home or at work but i am sure there are many situations where i would struggle in a wheelchair. If we want to encourage/force humanoids Id rather think about other things where legs could be useful than adding stairs.

It is still an open question if a humanoid is more useful @home than any wheeled robot.
They just look so much nicer and more interesting -> better HRI? Maybe we need to add best looking robot spectator vote.

I would also argue that stairs in random places are more of a thing of the past (for accessibility reasons).
Also may be too complicated to setup/construct for the arena.
We already had problems defining how exactly they have to look regarding the humanoid demo (which never happened.)

The simplest solution is to Just put a "open bottle" or something on the floor/doorway where a humanoid can step over.

How about climbing onto something to reach the top of a shelf? 😅
