Ios whitelabel

Has anyone successfully whitelabelled the ios app recently? The docs look to not represent what is in the repo anymore when opening the xcworkspace. I am starting with a fresh m1 mac mini so had to install brew/node etc however ran into so many issues.

I would like to know how to set up the environment before then turning back to the white label part
I've spent a solid 2 days on this and have failed spectacularly, when I tried this in the past probs 2+ years ago it all worked rather well.
