Hi team,

When building the Rocket.Chat mobile app, I received a warning from Google Play regarding Android 16 KB page size alignment.
Starting November 1st, 2025, all apps targeting Android 15+ must ensure native libraries align to 16 KB page boundaries.

Google Play reports that the generated APK contains .so libraries that are not 16 KB aligned:

lib/arm64-v8a/libbarhopper_v3.so
lib/arm64-v8a/libmmkv.so
lib/x86_64/libbarhopper_v3.so
lib/x86_64/libconceal.so
lib/x86_64/libexpo-av.so
lib/x86_64/libexpo-modules-core.so
lib/x86_64/libmmkv.so

How to build release aab?
Can I update or replace these packages?
Please help!

Hey, I request you to follow this issue for more information #6621

We are trying our best to add the 16kb alignment in the Android app but it will take some more time. In the meantime I request you to extend the deadline to June 2026 from the play console dashboard
