Excluded_apps in MSI win32 app

Hello,

Im wrapping the msi and excluded_apps.txt file into a win32 app for intune.

everything is working fine except my excluded_apps file is not being copied to programfiles.

I read its do with wau not being installed in current directory but how do I actually solve this?

Hi,
If you have WAU.msi and excluded_apps.txt in the same root folder, it should copy it.
However, if you're using Intune, I’d recommend using the ADMX template to manage the blacklist—it's easier to maintain :)

That's for GPO management. Regarding Intune, search Google for ADMX import and custom template policies.

Yes, I understand importing the admx into intune and I have done so using the admx provided in this repo.

However, I only see gpo management config, or am I missing something here?

To add, I want to roll out this out to all my intune devices without having to have an excluded apps.txt file already created that I then have copy over to program files.

If a txt list is already pushed, the GPO (or Intune policy) will override it. Take a look at this link for more details:
