In the same vein, if we want a mode with no tools (deselect all in 'available tools') then all of the tool use stuff should be omitted. Or, maybe provide a way to edit the full system prompt? edit: wow, mere minutes later I see the announcement of v3.7.8 with this feature. Now that's service! |

This seems low-effort. This was brought up in this thread in Discord: https://discord.com/channels/1332146336664915968/1340010768833318954
The user wants a "Code-no-MCP-tools" custom mode, they uncheck the "MCP tools" checkbox (prompt menu) for the mode, but all MCP servers show up in the generated System Prompt. They would very much like to not see MCP tools in the system prompt, saving tokens, lowering context storage.
