Prevent Editing Files

I am not a programmer, but I coded a long project with Roo and it's been a great experience.
I figured ways to improve results and reuse code by refering to documents where I have progress tracking and description of the file/project. Every time I finish a module of my project I ask roo to document the changes in a few files.
The biggest problem is that at some point ai will try to solve a problem by changing a file that was finished.
Similar to changing a library rather than the file that uses the library. This is a bit frustrating, and it is partly my fault because I have almost all on autoapprove.

But my question is how can I prevent changes to files that are done, and ai should not change them, only read them?
