I'm not sure about the Web Version and the reasoning and the need behind. But just having CodeAct architecture implementation in the traditional VS Code Roo-Code extention of the architecture used by Manus in would be great. |

Manus has been generating a lot of buzz lately, and rightly so—it’s an advanced AI agent looping system that integrates Claude 3.7, Sonnet Thinking, and optimized computer functionality. However, Roo Code also supports computer use, so why not bring it directly to the browser? A browser-based implementation could significantly expand accessibility and streamline usage.
Additionally, I propose introducing a default API section called "Roo Code API." While developers are familiar with APIs, everyday users often face a steep learning curve trying to navigate them, especially given Roo’s extensive features. This section could simplify the process by providing a Roo API key. If users select Roo as the provider, they wouldn’t need to manually enter an API key—similar to how VS Code’s LM API provider works. Users would simply select the model and start using it without extra setup. (Plus there is should be a daily limit for advanced models like VS Code LM API. )
This approach would make Roo more user-friendly and inclusive, allowing both developers and non-technical users to leverage its capabilities with minimal effort. Let me know your thoughts!
