Support pgvector as a vector database backend

Hi Roo Code team,

I’d love to see support for pgvector as a vector database backend. In my professional deployment environment I cannot host Qdrant, but I can use managed PostgreSQL. Supporting pgvector would let me run Roo Code within our existing infrastructure, meet compliance requirements, and avoid provisioning an extra service.

Why this would help

• Leverages existing PostgreSQL (managed, backups, monitoring, HA)
• Simplifies deployment and operations
• Enables adoption in restricted environments where custom vector databases aren’t allowed

Suggested approach

• Add a pgvector backend selectable via configuration
• Connect via a standard Postgres DSN; auto-migrate or provide a schema
• Use the pgvector extension for embedding storage and indexing (e.g., IVFFLAT or HNSW depending on PG/version)
• Document limitations and recommended settings

I realize this is a specific request, but it would meaningfully unblock a production deployment. I’m happy to provide more details, test builds, or contribute a minimal implementation if helpful.
