Claude Code just returning a -1 when asdf shims enabled

Is anyone getting Claude Code provider just returning a. -1 without explanation. It is working fine in the command line? Just started happening yesterday at about 2PM, so something changed???

OK leaving this a tombstone if you ever encounter this strange interaction. I use asdf for command line shimming. If claude is a shim, then roo code will include the entire node modules library that does the shim and this breaks claude with too long an input line. Hard to find
