🔁 Steps to Reproduce

What Happened

Today I was typing in Roo while it was editing files in auto-mode. I saw that anytime it edited a file, it would deselect where I was typing & would select the tab that Roo was editing!

It’s quite an annoying bug… it prevents me from typing while Roo edits many files.

But today, something horrible happened! I was about to paste an API key into the Roo chat (for something other than AI) while Roo was editing files.. I was preparing a message to send.

Instead, it switched off my text box and the paste operation placed my API key in some random file Roo was editing. I didn’t even know which file it was! When I tried to run the server, it failed… and I traced down where the API key was pasted. Once removed, the server ran fine.

It felt like one of those jokes you see on Twitter.

Would greatly appreciate if this could be solved. It was never a problem on Cline. I used Cline a lot and it didn’t have this bug so I know it’s possible.

Steps

1. tell Roo to create 4 short hello world scripts
2. start typing in the chat box and keep typing while the workflow continues
3. see the focus move from you chat box to the file while you're typing and the workflow progresses.

Can you please clear step by step repro steps instead of a story? One we can use exactly as stated to see the bug in action and to make sure the bug is fixed after we employ a fix?
