Claude Code integration not working on Linux when given too much context

🔁 Steps to Reproduce

1. Create new profile
2. Name it Claude Code
3. Select Claude Code as the provider
4. Select claude-sonnet-4-20250414 as the model
5. Set the Claude Code Path
6. Click Save
7. Click Done
8. Enter a prompt to a chat

💥 Outcome Summary

Sometimes get the first response about reading files into the context, but then instead of it continuing the chat with more responses it just dies.

I can see it does run the claude command, and sometimes it will even run it more than once. Yet after multiple attempts to use it, none are really successful. I tried in both Cursor 1.1.2 and VSCode 1.101.1.

The issue seems to relate to it reading in too much context at once. I am trying to narrow it down.

I repeatedly tested it asking it to simply rename classes or functions. It doesn't seem to relate to an exact number of lines. My guess is it is a certain number of characters. 2692 lines was too big and 2648 lines worked.

wc output is lines, words, bytes(characters). I was expected it to be something like 100,000 characters. Maybe it is with formatting, the prompt, etc.

Hey @edgan, Thank you for reporting this issue.

This might be related to #4860 and #2379.

Specially the last one where the errors sent by the dart LSP overwhelm the models.
