Index switches instantly to green after pressing scan. Repeats in the same way with every possible setting after cleaning and trying again
It's a unity project with hundreds of script files, multiple plugins each of them a lot of script files so there is more than enough to scan, in cursor takes like 10-15 minutes.
No relevant logs found in the application support folder.

I have successfully implemented a fix for the instant green status during index scanning issue.

🔧 Solution Implemented

Root Cause: The code indexing orchestrator was not properly validating that actual scanning work was performed before transitioning to the "Indexed" state, leading to instant completion when files were cached or no processing was needed.

Key Changes:

• Enhanced Progress Reporting: Added detailed progress messages during file discovery, filtering, and processing phases
• Work Validation: Added validation to ensure actual scanning work was performed before transitioning to "Indexed" state
• Meaningful Completion Messages: Provide specific feedback based on scan results (e.g., "All files were cached", "Processed X files and indexed Y blocks")
• Edge Case Handling: Proper handling when no files need processing or no supported files are found
