2. Chose gpt-4.1 as your model in copilot

It just shows copilot/gpt-4.1 as the response and nothing else. It worked completely fine yesterday.

Hi @beenycool! I've created a pull request to fix this issue: #6106

The fix implements a workaround that detects when the VS Code Language Model API returns the model ID instead of actual content and handles it appropriately. The PR includes:

• Debug logging to help track the issue
• Detection logic to identify when "copilot/gpt-4.1" is returned as the response
• Proper error handling with a descriptive message
• Comprehensive test coverage

This appears to be a bug in either the VS Code Language Model API or the GitHub Copilot extension itself. The workaround ensures you'll get a clear error message explaining the issue instead of seeing the model ID as the response.

All CI checks have passed successfully. Once the PR is merged, this issue should be resolved!

It works for enhance prompt, but doesnt for chat. Cant test yet
