I'm here to help out the maintainers and am going to see if I can fix the issue or at least get close enough to be helpful! I'll investigate why line breaks are being displayed as literal \n characters when using the Claude Code provider.

I've successfully implemented a fix for this issue! 🎉

The problem was that escaped newline characters (\n) in Claude Code output were being displayed literally instead of being converted to actual line breaks.

Solution implemented:

• Added .replace(/\\n/g, '\n') to convert escaped newlines in both string chunks and text content from Claude Code
• Added comprehensive tests to verify the fix works correctly

Pull Request: #6711

All CI checks have passed successfully. The fix ensures that Claude Code output will now display properly formatted text with actual line breaks instead of literal \n characters.

+1 on this one it is so annoying and hard to fix once it happens. YOu can't just say remove newlines to fix, seems to need a manual search and replace. Argh!
