Roo Code Task Links (Optional)
Your shared task link on this form, https://app.roocode.com/share/task-id, returns HTTP 404. I would like to know how to do that.
Ok, I found it: https://app.roocode.com/share/task-id.
Nope. That's the task shared from the chat header button.
In any case, Roo-Code creates a shadow file system, or something. It has a shadow terminal. I tried to turn it of because I want a record of every command to go into my terminal, the shared terminal.
I can still see Roo-Code executing commands and streaming results in some little tiny pane inside the chat.
In my current chat, I could see the LLM pretend to write the file, mark the TODO that the file had been written, and cat out the full contents of the file into the fake terminal, all while I was trying to get it to use the real terminal. I have the fake terminal setting turned OFF.
To be clear, I have "Disable terminal shell integration" off, in the unchecked state.
According to the docs: "Keep this checkbox CHECKED (recommended): Roo Code will execute commands using its built-in inline terminal, displaying output directly within the chat interface."
I have it off, because I don't want it doing what it is doing. I don't want it to execute commands in the "inline terminal" that I do not have access to or any record of.
Even though I have it of, the LLM is executing commands, or pretending to execute commands, in some kind of sidereal terminal that doesn't affect the OS file system.
