Roo Code always outputs some irrelevant characters. The ones encountered so far are “极速模式” (“Speed Mode”). It can appear either partially (for example, just “极”) or fully as “极速模式”. These characters may appear in the file path or within the edited file contents.

Since the model was trained heavily on Chinese data, it can sometimes hallucinate Chinese text and insert it into file paths or file contents.

If this issue persists, the best option would be to try a different model, as we can’t filter or prevent these specific hallucinations at the Roo Code layer.
