I've successfully implemented a fix for the MCP timeout configuration issue and opened PR #7837: #7837

The fix ensures that all MCP client requests (not just callTool) now respect the user-configured timeout value. I also refactored the code to reduce duplication by extracting the timeout parsing logic into a helper method.

All tests are passing and CI checks have completed successfully. The changes should resolve the issue where MCP operations were timing out at 30 seconds instead of using the configured timeout value.
