[ENHANCEMENT] Enable me to add custom checkpoint. #8350
Description
Problem (one or two sentences)
AI often does something good and something bad while modifying the codebase. So, at different times, we need to go to different checkpoints based on what the AI did well.
Context (who is affected and when)
This happens when the AI edits the codebase. I only get a checkpoint before an edit. I don't get a checkpoint when I start the task. I dont get a checkpoint after the ai have edited, in case if i think that it was good, so let's go back to this edit.
I know you will argue that multiple auto checkpoints will harm some other... (you said in the past, to one of my suggestions, where I asked to add multiple auto checkpoints), so this time I am asking for custom checkpoint.
Cline did automatic checkpoint well.
Desired behavior (conceptual, not technical)
Roo should have automatically added multiple checkpoints smartly.
But it doesn't.
So let me add at least a custom checkpoint.
