Are you think we are also this stupid?

Z.AI GLM 4.5V same crash.

Please tell me a story that GLM4.5V is also stupid model that is why Roocode Is alloweed to crash:

I'm investigating this issue with model compatibility, particularly the crashes occurring in Orchestrator mode with various LLM models including Z.AI's GLM 4.5V. I'll explore potential improvements to error handling and work on a fix.

Opened PR #8953 with my attempt at addressing this issue: #8953

The PR implements:

• Retry mechanism for empty model responses (up to 3 attempts with exponential backoff)
• Enhanced detection and handling of local LLM connection errors
• Orchestrator mode-specific guidance when local models struggle
• Improved error messages with actionable troubleshooting steps

There are currently some test failures in the CI that need to be addressed. The implementation adds comprehensive error handling that should significantly improve the experience for users running local LLMs by preventing crashes and providing clear guidance.

Hey, it is true that the models you mentioned struggle with a complex system prompt like ours and will make more mistakes than other models like Claude Sonnet.

The error message you are seeing is not a crash but rather Roo Code stopping when the model makes a certain amount of mistakes when editing files.

You can change this setting and let the model make as many mistakes as necessary:

Set the Error & Repetition Limit to 0 and this safety mechanism will never trigger.

We are also working on getting these models to perform better with our tools so that in the future they make less mistakes.
