Description
What is affected by this bug?
Currently the GUI freezes while a large file loads.
When does this occur?
Loading a large file, usually over 5MB.
Where on the platform does it happen?
How do we replicate the issue?
Load a large file.
Expected behavior (i.e. solution)
Ideally should be quick, but should also allow interaction with the laser while a file loads.
