Figure out if we need to store state outside the view controllers, and if so how. 

When the user goes "back" from the time chooser, picks new points, and then goes forward again, their old time choice should be preserved. On the Android side we need to save the state as the views are destroyed, but I'm not sure if that's true on ios.
