"Future proof"-ing by making lines associated with objects?

Since loc has demostraited that is it possible in iOS to draw lines and then be able to treat them as objects, do we want to do this in the iOS version just incase in the future we're able to figure out some way to do it in android, or maybe have features in iOS that android doesn't have?

These changes would definitely require changes to the server and im not sure we want to mess with that now that we've handed over the reigns to PORTAL.

I showed you the google maps in iphone, and we use apple maps in routelandia-ios, so I'm not sure, we can create an object in apple map and interact with it or not

So, we should think about switching to Google maps if Apple maps can't do it!

What we want to do is draw each station as it's own object. We can then do neat stuff like changing it's color when tapped, and changing the color of all stations between the start and end taps!

Using this would even possibly extend to support multi-freeway statistics!
