popup.html only working on safari

Using safari my app works perfectly.
Using firefox or chrome I get these errors.

"TypeError: o.subtle is undefined" -> Firefox
"TypeError: Cannot read property 'importKey' of undefined" -> Chrome

Both happen on line 24 of popup.html

The popup.html file is an artifact of the old solid-auth-client library we're using; we should upgrade our auth.

Are there any plans to do this, or is there anything I (a beginner in both React and Solid) can do?
