Add short description of Java Virtual Machine

**Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**
The JVM is mentioned in chapter 2. I could infer what it was, but I feel less experienced students may not understand.

Add a short one or two paragraph that describes what the JVM is and its purpose.
