Description
Every time draw mode is activated, an overlay message appears at the bottom of the screen with the following instructions:
Current tool: Arrow
Press F1 for help
Press Delete to clear canvas
Press Esc or Ctrl + Alt + X to exit draw mode
While this is helpful for new users, experienced users may find it distracting, especially during presentations or when using the tool in a professional context.
Feature Request
It would be great to have an option to hide or toggle this help overlay, either:
- Via a setting in the configuration/preferences
- Via a keyboard shortcut (e.g. pressing F1 again to dismiss it)
- By showing it only the first few times the app is used, then hiding it automatically
Expected Behavior
The help overlay should be optional, allowing users to disable it once they are familiar with the shortcuts.
Current Behavior
The help overlay is always displayed when entering draw mode, with no way to dismiss or disable it.
