[doc issue] Regular expression syntax not documented

The page documents that regular expressions can be used to match file names. However, the specific regular expression syntax is not currently documented. This would be very useful!

There is wide range of possible regex that can be used. Possibble examples and limitations are already listed with the field description and it is not feasible to provide one syntax that fits all.

There are only examples of simple expressions on the page. None for regular expressions and no mention of the regex format. I'm assuming it's derived from java.util.regex.Pattern, but I shouldn't have to guess. As is, the regular expression option is not documented and it really should be.
