CPEA global discount

Dear all,
Can you please advise - is it possible to configure anywhere in the app the CPEA discount that was set in the contract ?
I was trying to figure out myself, but I could not find the way.

Hi Vlad,
The application does not use/know any discount levels. The only way to deviate from the shown EUR/USD/.. values, is to configure a fictional currency and activate currency conversion in the settings. Note that activating this would require a complete data-reset (removing old consumption data) as the application will not work with a mix of currencies.

Or you can do a manual % conversion yourself (while remaining with EUR/USD/..) by changing the code here to apply a discount but keep the currency: https://github.com/SAP-samples/btp-resource-consumption-monitor/blob/main/cf/srv/retrievalService.ts#L400-L413. This won't require a data-reset.

Understood, very good. I checked Function "applyCurrencyConversion" and logic is clear, if I do it in the code.
You mentioned about configuring a fictional currency and conversion rates. Can you please advise, is this something that cab done in the app UI? I could not find a tile that manages currencies, I always see EUR as default

So, if I get correct, I can add a new currency in Settings.ts and use it from there?

yes, but this will require you to delete all historic data

that's fine, that's ok: I then can re-load all the historical data
