The issue with installation, Docker and Dev Containers

I downloaded the files from your GitHub repository, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to properly install Terraform and set up the Dev Containers.
I've followed all the steps provided in the video walkthroughs, but I'm still running into issues. I'm using Docker on my PC, and every time I try to download the Dev Containers, I encounter an error.

Could you please provide any suggestions or guidance?

@HamidovAhrorbek There are two dev container variants available:

1. a dev container that provides the necessary infrastructure but does not inject any credentials into the container for authentication towards SAP BTP:

2. a dev container that provides the necessary infrastructure and injects credentials for authentication towards SAP BTP into the container into the container:

   

The first variant does not have any prerequisites, but be aware that you must then export your username and password inside of the container when you walk through the exercises as described here: https://github.com/SAP-samples/btp-terraform-mooc-terra1/blob/main/units/unit_2/lesson_1/README.md#setting-of-environment-variables

The second variant requires a devcontainer.env file to be present before the container starts. The procedure is described here: https://github.com/SAP-samples/btp-terraform-mooc-terra1/blob/main/units/unit_1/lesson_3/README.md#creating-the-devcontainerenv-file.

Make sure that this file is placed inside of the .devcontainer folder:

Let me know if this solves your issue. If not, please add a screenshot of the log when starting the devcontainer that shows the error.

@vanderwaltl This is an issue with the dev container feature that installs the Terraform CLI in the dev container. A PR to fix this is open (devcontainers/features#1475).

Until then you can remove the line "ghcr.io/devcontainers/features/terraform:1": {}, from the file .devcontainer/devcontainer.json or .devcontainer/withenvfile/devcontainer.json (depending on which devcontainer configuration you are using) and install the CLI manually in the dev container as described here https://developer.hashicorp.com/terraform/tutorials/aws-get-started/install-cli -> Linux -> Debian/Ubuntu
