v11.6.8

This is the release that brings the updated parameter values for the Horizon theme family that we announced with 11.3.0 (on 2023-04-04). It is synced with the major SAP UI technologies (UI5 WebComponents, SAPUI5, and Unified Rendering) and should not cause breaking changes. Hence, as it fixes design bugs, it is considered a bug fix.

Bug Fixes

• Hundreds of parameters of Morning and Evening Horizon are updated based on one year of customer feedback. See Improvements Coming to the Horizon Visual Theme for SAP Fiori for a detailed explanation. Main changes are:
  • editable Fields are white again, and read-only fields grey (only with @sapField_HorizonNGEnabled: 1, which defaults to 0 for base.less and to 1 for css_variables.less)
  • shadows with a spread are no longer used
  • Hover states are more visible
  • standard Buttons look more enabled now and a light blue (secondary information) Button is introduced
