In the new synoptic panel of the new UI, you can import an .svg file created in Inkscape and you can map the elements (still in Inkscape) following the standards defined in this tutorial (https://github.com/SCADA-LTS/Scada-LTS/wiki/Synoptic-Panel-%5BSVG%5D). There is also a video on YouTube from Scada-LTS showing this implementation. It's good that you opened this discussion because until some previous versions (I don't know exactly which one), it was possible in the traditional UI to use an .svg (without the features of mapping elements, just as a static background image) when uploading a background image, but there was already some limit, I never understood exactly what it was, whether it was the KB of the file or something else, my perception is that for more complex drawings, the file didn't accept upload, in the latest version I can no longer upload .svg as a background image in the traditional UI, even if using light and simple files, it must have been limited for some security reason, but it would be good to have this feature again, exporting from Inkscape in .png loses a lot of quality. Another function that also worked and I can no longer use was calling .svg icons with an HTML component. I usually use the fontAwesome library to create navigation menus, and I used the HTML tag In short, at the moment SVG only works in the new UI, according to my tests. |
