In particular, the decomposition panel and the embedding M-S windows need to be better connected.
Each of these issues highlights an individual portion of the overall task: #194, #123, #142, and #124.
These are not particularly difficult tasks, but the overall benefit of their completion will be significant.
The process will involve improving user documentation with explanations of associated behavior.

An example:
When Model is set to None, the Partitioning (M-S) parameters can be changed by the user, as preliminary data exploration is very important as noted in issue #196. But if a model is selected, it was learned from a particular decomposition, and therefore these parameters in the UI should all be shown to the user as disabled.
