Yes, it addresses the problem of data privacy compliance and inefficient data management. Without this feature, we face compliance risks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), a heavy manual burden for deleting old data, excessive data storage, and a lack of trust from registrants who can't control their data.

I'd like:

Registrant Opt-In/Retention Preference: Registrants choose during registration (or in their profile) if their data is retained and for how long (e.g., 3 months, 1 year).

Admin-Configurable Default Policies: Admins set default retention policies for all events, with the option to override them for specific events.

Automated Deletion/Anonymization: A scheduled process automatically deletes or anonymizes personal data once the retention period expires, with a log of all actions.
