Description
Issue Description
The use of gendered terms such as "Spielende" in the surf-cloud project is unnecessary and creates confusion. The team has agreed that this form of gendering lacks clarity and should be avoided.
Steps to Reproduce (if applicable)
- Search the codebase, UI texts, and documentation for instances of gendered terms like "Spielende", "Teilnehmende", etc.
Expected Outcome
All user-facing and internal strings should use gender-neutral and grammatically standard terms. For example:
- "Spieler" or "Spielerin" should be replaced with a role-based neutral term (e.g., "Teilnehmer", "Benutzer", "User").
- Avoid constructed gendered forms that reduce readability or lack semantic clarity.
Additional Information
- Team consensus has been reached to remove such constructs.
- This change will help align language use with clarity and user expectations.
