Upgrading road on an S curve makes the road cross over #100

I have an issue that I notice with s bend curves like this. Using the upgrade tool with parallel road tool has this twisting/ crossing over issue where the curve changes direction. In the clip I'm left clicking on each segment. (left hand drive game mode)
