We want to have a contributing.md to ensure proper documentation of contributors to this repository.

Acceptance Criteria

• Create a CONTRIBUTING.md in a docs folder, on the root path.
• Update with appropriate sections as below.

We plan on setting up an automated workflow that builds up this list in subsequent merges on the main branch. It runs a build that adds the contributor details on first successful merge.
