Why does cmdline not inherit the top-level mapping by default? Genuine question: I know blink.cmp is supposed to have good out-of-the-box settings. I'm just trying to understand why the defaults are the way they are to see if it's worth sticking with it.
I would think there's less cognitive load and complexity by simply using the same bindings and behaviors across cmdline, terminal, and top-level mappings by default. Curious to know why users might prefer different mappings and menu settings these these different modes.
