Help combining AI ghost text with regular autocomplete menu

Hey,

I want to set up 2 different settings for AI and non-AI sources:

1. For AI stuff (source=copilot), I'd like to use, say, C-G to cycle, C-H to accept. I want the current suggestion to be shown as ghost text, and everything else (lsp, buffer) to be in the menu.
2. For everything else I want to use the normal C-N C-P C-Y C-E, and it should be only in the menu.

Since combining ghost text with menu currently hides the ghost text, I'd also like to show the menu above the cursorline if that's an option.

Why: because using copilot in the same way as regular completion results in a rocky experience.

• Copilot is async (kind of has to be), and is always at the top, so sometimes I want to accept LSP keybind and copilot appears at the last moment.
• Copilot is not fuzzy, so if you type anything fuzzy, the top 3 spots are occupied by garbage.
• Copilot suggestions are often multi-line and ghost text is the nicest way to look at those. However, ghost text for regular completion is often not informative enough. For example, ghost text with multiple symbols that can be imported from somewhere is basically unusable (no way to distinguish auto-imports).

Specific things I would appreciate help with:

1. Is it currently possible to draw the menu up, not down? (with the best item being at the bottom, closest to cursor, and scroll going up)
2. Is it currently possible to define different display settings for different sources? (I know I can do that outside of blink.cmp and just not send copilot source to blink, but thought perhaps there's a more uniform way)
3. Is it currently possible to have different sets of keybinds for these? (same as above)

I looked through the documentation and assume the answer is no to all.

If this looks like something the plugin could potentially support, I'd like to contribute and would appreciate any pointers.

For the other 2, solved by using copilot.lua and settings keybinds there, not using blink for autocomplete
