Disable automatic completion

I like the completions, but I wouldn't like it to get triggered every time I enter a character on my screen and would like to see the completion options only when pressing ctrl + p or something like that.
I did some searches for similar discussions which didn't yield the desired outcome.

Yes but the issue is that pressing ctrl + p doesn't trigger blink-cmp but nvim's built-in completion

@Eloquencere I believe ctrl + p is not related to blink.cmp, as it is part of the completeopt or built-in completion. You might want to check :help completeopt for more information.

However, if you want to see the completion options triggered by blink.cmp when pressing ctrl + p, you need to add the "show" keymap for ctrl + p. You can refer to the keymap configuration for details.

That works almost well for me, trying to rebind C-p to show and C-p to select_prev, isn't causing blink-cmp to trigger
