sorry to bother u again, I check your code in Compression.m, can you tell me how to determine the value of the convolution kernel f3 = [[1, -2, 1]; [-2, 3, 2]; [1, 2,- 1]]？

There is no hard and fast rule. I took a gaussian combination of High pass and low pass filters from my understanding.
