Benchmarking with Gillespy2

Opening here a thread to keep track of progress for benchmarking with GillesPy2 and Gillepy2julia. (Have some health issues so will be little slow for now)

Bdw, has anybody tried using julia wrapper of gillespy2?? I had following issue

It looks like it's just an extremely thin wrapper.

And time span restricted by default, 0 to 100. I found it little 😬

Gillespy2 and StochSS in general seem to be abandoned, so we have some benchmarks in https://journals.plos.org/ploscompbiol/article?id=10.1371/journal.pcbi.1011530 but it will be hard to keep those benchmarks alive given those packages no longer have any active maintenance or bug fixes, so closing this.
