apiAddress endpoint HTTPS support?

The configuration of the DELL ME5012 using http works correctly, but the protocol is insecure. You want to use the https protocol but you get the following error:

failed to provision volume with StorageClass "storageclass-seagate": rpc error: code = Unauthenticated desc = ++ MC Login FAILURE, err=Get "https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/api/login": tls: failed to verify certificate: x509: cannot validate certificate for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx because it doesn't contain any IP SANs

Is there a way to use the HTTPS protocol?
